C.A.L.L.E de Arizona is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the centuries old beauty, qualities and traits of the Mexican/Hispanic Culture through various forms of Art. Carrying on a powerful Legacy, by instilling and teaching skills in Leadership to our youth. And most importantly by setting the example through the promotion of the importance in a high standard of Education.

The Chandler Coalition for Civil and Human
Rights, Inc. (C3HR) was started in 1997
by Mr. Joe Garcia and Mr. Eddie Encinas
as a resul of the Chandler Police Department
and Border Patrol operations conducted
“round ups” to remove undocumented
people living in the City of Chandler
and others, resulting in settlements.

After the lawsuits were settled, C3HR
began looking at ways to demonstrate to the
city and the police department of Chandler
that we were going to be a positive part
of the community.

As a result of our brainstorming we began
sponsoring the Cinco de Mayo Chihuahua
Races and the mariachi festival in
downtown Chandler, now known as the
C.A.L.L.E DE ARIZONA Mariachi &
Folklorico Festival. These events raise funds
for scholarships awarded to students in our
community that are in the pursuit of a college
